Port Discovery

At Port Discovery, we encourage children to ask questions, to try something new, to turn things upside down and inside out. Why? Because when children are playing, they're figuring out how things work. They're figuring out what they're interested in. They're developing an understanding of themselves, of their community, and the world around them. Extra bonus: As children are playing and learning, parents, caregivers and teachers have the chance to watch, learn and be proud of what their children accomplish along the way. Pretty cool!

Ripley's Believe It Or Not

Discover the strange, the shocking, and beautiful at Ripley's Believe It or Not! on Light Street Pavilion. Enjoy some eye-popping exhibits where you can pose with a 12ft tall scrap car parts sculpture, or lose yourself in some mind-boggling visual illusions!! The array of weird will leave you awe-struck. You've found your one-stop family fun in Baltimore!

Maryland Science Center

In everything we do we invite participation. Our exhibits are interactive and hands-on.  Our education programs are collaborative and driven by curiosity. Our live science shows and pop up science activities ask guests to use their own knowledge to predict outcomes.  And at every turn, we invite participants to join us in this pursuit. We believe that exploring the possibilities of science is active, not passive, and inclusive.  We celebrate the idea that cause and effect, trial and error, and especially outright failure, is the best way to teach–and learn!

Maryland Zoo

The Zoo’s mission is to inspire and educate people to join with it in the active support and conservation of wildlife and wild places. The Zoo is committed to serving its communities by engaging people with the wonder of the living world through personal encounters that foster lifelong harmonious relationships with nature.
